Responsibilities:
- Lead regional sales performance and launch excellence for assigned geography and/or hospital/large practice accounts; develop Account Managers and execute regional business plans.
- Translate national strategy into regional execution; monitor local market dynamics and team performance; provide customer/market feedback.
- Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and manage Account Managers.
- Drive launch execution (awareness, demand generation, appropriate utilization, sales performance).
- Execute approved regional marketing plan to maximize penetration; ensure timely delivery of marketing/sales tactics.
- Set goals and performance measures; use data/dashboards/insights to identify gaps, coach, optimize execution, and guide resource allocation.
- Conduct field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Ensure compliance with all field activities and company guidelines.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS; valid driverβs license.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales; 2+ years successful district/regional field management.
- Experience leading teams in hospitals/health systems/large practice groups.
- Understanding of hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Preferred:
- Proven success leading hospital/specialty/account-based teams in complex healthcare environments.
- Launch experience (specialty/anti-infective/infectious disease/hospital-based products) with accountability for launch objectives.
- Deep stakeholder engagement (clinical/non-clinical); strong IDN/health system/academic center/large practice account management.
Leadership/Skills/Requirements:
- Adhere to regulatory/legal/compliance standards; strong presentation/selling and communication; Microsoft Office; analytical ability.
- Travel up to 50% (overnight); ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs.
Compensation/Benefits (US): Base salary $186,750β$311,250; annual bonus; eligible for share-based long-term incentive; health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental + medical leave.
