Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth by developing and managing a designated region.
- Lead, direct, and manage Account Managers within the assigned geography; achieve sales and business objectives.
- Provide guidance to compliantly drive sales to meet/exceed corporate forecasts; monitor field activities for compliance.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach Account Managers to build a high-performing team.
- Drive awareness, understanding, utilization, and sales of a launch product.
- Develop and implement business plans; execute the approved regional marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Identify/monitor local market conditions; adapt strategies and build strong customer relationships.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing and sales tactics; collaborate on goal setting and performance measures.
- Use reports/tools to monitor goal attainment as per client agreements.
- Set performance expectations, provide continuous feedback, conduct regular field ride-alongs, and manage performance and disciplinary processes.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales.
- 2+ years of successful district/regional field management experience.
- Domestic travel as necessary (may include overnight; majority of time in market).
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree; experience launching drug; Hepatology experience.
- Experience leading teams engaging academic institutions or IDNs; market strategy/tactical mix.

Skills/Leadership Capabilities:
- Adhere to regulatory/legal/compliance standards; strong presentation/selling and business acumen.
- Microsoft Office; excellent oral/written communication; strong analytical/technical abilities; customer-focused.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog (preferred).

Requirements:
- Travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
