Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth by developing and managing a designated region.
- Lead, direct, and manage Account Managers within a specific geographical area.
- Guide the team to achieve sales and business objectives and participate in strategic meetings; lead team meetings.
- Provide guidance to drive sales objectives to meet/exceed corporate forecasts.
- Monitor field activities for compliance; provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions; collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Lead, manage, and develop Account Managers’ performance; recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach them.
- Drive awareness and utilization and sales of a launch product through team development.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Execute the approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Identify and monitor local market conditions; adapt strategies; build customer relationships.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of regional marketing/sales tactics.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures; use reports/tools to monitor goal attainment.
- Set performance expectations; oversee direct reports for policy adherence; provide continuous feedback.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Manage performance management and fair/timely resolution of disciplinary issues.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales.
- Minimum 2 years’ district/regional field management experience.
- Travel up to 70% domestically (including overnight; majority of time in-market).
- Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Experience launching drugs.
- Preferred Hepatology experience.
- Experience leading sales teams engaging customers in academic institution or IDN settings.
- Understanding of market strategy and tactical mix.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent project planning/implementation and cross-functional team management.
- Ability to hire, lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams.

Skills:
- Adherence to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional presentation/selling skills and strong business acumen.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Koren, Vietnamese, or Tagalog (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Strong analytical/technical abilities and customer-focused approach to exceed goals.

Requirements:
- Travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
