Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth by developing and managing a designated region.
- Lead, direct, and manage Account Managers; guide team to achieve sales and business objectives.
- Lead and participate in national/regional/local strategic meetings; conduct team meetings.
- Drive sales objectives to meet/exceed corporate forecasts; monitor field activities for compliance.
- Provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and local market conditions; collaborate with leadership, commercial operations, marketing, and other business units.
- Lead product launch awareness/utilization/sales through team development.
- Develop and implement business plans; execute approved marketing plan to maximize penetration.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures; use reports/tools to monitor goal attainment.
- Set performance expectations; oversee direct reports, ensure policy adherence, provide continuous feedback.
- Conduct field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Manage performance management and timely resolution of disciplinary issues.
- Foster a rewarding, achievement- and retention-focused environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales.
- 2+ years successful district/regional field management experience.
- Valid driver’s license; travel up to 70% (overnight).
- Preferred: advanced degree; drug launch experience; Hepatology experience; experience in academic/IDN settings; market strategy/tactical mix; hire/coach/mentor teams.
- Strong compliance, presentation/selling, business acumen, communication (oral/written), analytical skills; Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Preferred language: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog.
Benefits/Compensation (US):
- Base salary: $182,250–$303,750; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive.
