Responsibilities:
- Lead, direct, and manage the activities of Account Managers within a designated region.
- Generate volume and market share growth through development and management of the region.
- Lead, manage, and develop account manager performance; recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach a high-performing team.
- Drive awareness and sales of a launch product by leading, managing, and developing account manager capabilities.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership to compliantly meet and exceed sales targets.
- Execute the approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Identify and monitor local market conditions; build customer relationships and adapt strategies.
- Ensure compliance of all field activities with company guidelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of marketing and sales tactics; collaborate on goal setting and performance measures.
- Use analysis/reporting tools to monitor goal attainment as per client agreements.
- Set performance expectations, oversee direct reports’ activities for policy adherence, and provide continuous feedback.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Manage performance management and timely resolution of disciplinary issues.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical/medical (related) sales experience.
- 2+ years of successful district/regional field management experience.
- Travel up to 70% domestically (including overnight; majority of time in market).
- Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Experience launching a drug.
- Preferred experience in Hepatology.
- Experience leading sales teams engaging customers in academic institution or IDN setting.
- Understanding of market strategy and tactical mix.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong project planning/implementation and cross-functional team management.
- Ability to hire, lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams.

Skills:
- Adherence to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional presentation and selling skills; strong business acumen.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical/technical abilities with customer service focus.

Requirements:
- Travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
