Regional Sales Director - Northeast

Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth by developing and managing a designated region.
- Lead, direct, and manage Account Managers; recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach a high-performing team.
- Guide team to achieve sales/business objectives; lead meetings and participate in strategic meetings.
- Drive awareness and sales of a launch product; execute approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Develop and implement business plans; monitor local market conditions and adapt strategies.
- Ensure compliance with field activities and guidelines; deliver marketing/sales tactics timely.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures; use reports/tools to track goal attainment.
- Conduct field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching; manage performance management and disciplinary resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales experience.
- 2+ years district/regional field management experience.
- Travel up to 70% (overnight included) and valid Driverโs License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree; experience launching drugs; Hepatology experience.
- Experience leading teams engaging customers in academic/IDN settings.
Skills:
- Regulatory/legal/compliance adherence; exceptional selling/presentation and business acumen.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office); strong written/oral communication; strong analytical abilities.
