About the Role
Regional Business Director (Commercial Team) on the US Sales Leadership Team. Reporting to the Area Sales Director. Responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy for the North Texas region (Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano-Frisco, Arlington-Midcities, Tyler-East TX, Austin TX, West TX).
What Youโll Do
- Develop, lead, and execute a sales plan with goals and targets to maximize sales growth in the rare disease market.
- Recruit, hire, and prepare Therapeutic Specialists for future launches; retain and develop a high-performing Rare Disease/Specialty Sales Team.
- Create a high-performance, compliance-driven team culture (trust, respect, accountability, ownership).
- Develop sales enablers (sales training, customer targeting/alignment, market development) with internal/external partners.
- Lead sales execution through one-product focus to a portfolio-selling approach.
- Maintain deep knowledge of disease state, products/customers, orphan/rare and specialty drug markets, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional field leaders (Market Access, Patient Services), Medical, Legal, and Compliance.
- Monitor team performance and implement behavioral strategies (operation excellence); foster a coaching culture.
Who You Are
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 3+ years experience in front-line pharmaceutical sales/commercial leadership.
You Are or You Also Have
- Experience building high-performing teams with culture/compliance and launch excellence.
- Product portfolio leadership experience (required).
- Successful product launch experience as a front-line sales leader (required).
- Experience recruiting and hiring Therapeutic Specialists.
- Proven record of success via teamwork and execution.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Rare disease/pulmonary experience preferred.
Where Youโll Work / Travel / Pay
- Fully remote, field-based; frequent travel up to 30%.
- Pay range: $180,000โ$233,500 annual.
