Regional Sales Director (Territory: MO, KS, CO, UT, NE, SD, ND, MN, IA)
Responsibilities:
- Lead regional sales performance and launch excellence; develop Account Managers and execute regional business plans.
- Drive demand generation and appropriate product utilization to achieve compliant sales objectives.
- Translate national strategy into regional execution; monitor local market dynamics; provide customer/market feedback.
- Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and manage Account Managers; conduct field ride-alongs.
- Lead launch execution (awareness, demand, utilization, sales performance).
- Execute approved marketing plan; ensure timely delivery of sales/marketing tactics.
- Use data/dashboards to monitor results, identify gaps, optimize execution, and guide resource allocation.
- Set performance expectations; coach/feedback; manage performance/disciplinary matters; ensure compliance with field activities and company guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales.
- 2+ years district/regional field management.
- Experience leading teams in hospitals/health systems/large practice groups.
- Understanding of hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Success leading hospital/specialty/account-based sales teams in complex environments.
- Launch experience (specialty/anti-infective/infectious disease/hospital-based) with launch accountability.
- Deep experience in hospital/health-system/large practice decision processes (formulary, stewardship, pathways, protocol development, demand).
- Experience across highly matrixed orgs and multiple stakeholders; strong analytical, culture/talent development, and coaching.
Skills:
- Regulatory/compliance adherence; presentation/selling; Microsoft Office; oral/written communication; strong analytical/technical abilities.
Requirements:
- Travel up to 50% (overnight included); lift/move up to 35 lbs.
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- US base salary range: $186,750β$311,250; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive.
