Responsibilities:
- Lead regional sales performance and launch excellence across a defined geography and/or aligned hospital or large group practice accounts.
- Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and manage Account Managers to build a high-performing regional team.
- Translate national strategy into regional execution; monitor local market dynamics and team performance.
- Develop and execute regional business plans prioritizing key accounts, customer segments, market opportunities, and resource allocation.
- Lead regional launch execution to drive awareness, demand generation, appropriate utilization, and sales performance.
- Execute the approved marketing plan with the regional team to maximize market penetration.
- Ensure timely delivery of marketing and sales tactics; collaborate on goal setting and performance measures.
- Use data/dashboards/performance insights to monitor results, identify gaps, coach Account Managers, optimize execution, and guide resource allocation.
- Set performance expectations; provide ongoing coaching/feedback; manage performance and disciplinary matters.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Ensure compliance with all field activities and company guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driverβs license.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales.
- 2+ years successful district/regional field management experience.
- Experience leading teams in hospitals, health systems, and large practice groups.
- Understanding of hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success leading high-performing hospital/specialty/account-based sales teams in complex healthcare environments.
- Experience launching specialty/anti-infective/infectious disease/hospital-based products with accountability to launch objectives.
- Deep knowledge of hospital/health-system/large practice decision-making and access/steering processes (formulary, antimicrobial stewardship, clinical pathways, protocol development, demand generation).
- Leadership experience engaging multiple stakeholders (clinical/non-clinical), and strong account management leadership in IDNs/health systems/academic medical centers/large group practices.
- Strong analytical skills using data and metrics for business decisions; MBA or advanced healthcare/business degree.

Requirements:
