Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and manage Account Managers to build a high-performing regional team.
- Lead regional launch execution to drive awareness, demand generation, appropriate utilization, and sales performance.
- Develop and execute regional business plans prioritizing key accounts, customer segments, market opportunities, and resource allocation.
- Lead the sales team to compliantly meet and exceed sales targets.
- Execute the approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Identify and monitor local market conditions; build customer relationships and adapt strategies.
- Ensure timely delivery of marketing and sales tactics.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures.
- Use data, dashboards, and performance insights to monitor results, identify gaps, coach, optimize execution, and guide resource allocation.
- Set performance expectations; provide ongoing coaching/feedback; manage performance and disciplinary matters to ensure accountability and compliance.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Build an accountable culture that drives achievement, engagement, development, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with all field activities and company guidelines.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical (or related) sales experience.
- 2+ years district/regional field management experience.
- Experience leading teams in hospitals, health systems, and large practice groups.
- Strong understanding of hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Preferred:
- Proven success leading hospital/specialty/account-based teams in complex healthcare environments.
- Experience launching specialty/anti-infective/infectious disease/hospital products against launch objectives.
- Deep understanding of hospital/health-system/large group decision-making (formulary, stewardship, pathways, protocol development, demand generation).
- Analytical skills using data/metrics to drive decisions.

Skills:
- Regulatory/compliance adherence; strong presentation/selling; Microsoft Office; excellent oral/written communication; analytical/technical abilities.

Requirements:
- Travel up to 50% (including overnight).
- Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.
