Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and manage Account Managers to build a high-performing regional team.
- Lead regional launch execution to drive awareness, demand generation, appropriate utilization, and sales performance.
- Develop and execute regional business plans prioritizing key accounts, customer segments, market opportunities, and resource allocation.
- Provide effective, compliant leadership to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Execute the approved marketing plan with the regional team to maximize market penetration.
- Identify and monitor local market conditions, build customer relationships, and adapt strategies.
- Ensure timely delivery of marketing and sales tactics within the region.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures.
- Use data, dashboards, and performance insights to monitor results, coach gaps, optimize execution, and guide resource allocation.
- Set performance expectations; provide ongoing coaching/feedback; manage performance and disciplinary matters to ensure accountability and compliance.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs with account managers for hands-on coaching.
- Ensure compliance with all field activities and company guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution.
- Valid driver’s license.
- 7+ years in pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales.
- 2+ years successful district/regional field management experience.
- Experience leading teams in hospitals, health systems, and large practice groups.
- Strong understanding of hospital decision-making, clinical pathways, formulary management, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success leading high-performing hospital/specialty/account-based teams in complex healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated launch experience (specialty/anti-infective/infectious disease/hospital-based) with accountability for launch objectives.
- Deep understanding of hospital/health-system/large practice decision processes (formulary, antimicrobial stewardship, clinical pathways, protocol development, demand generation).
- Experience engaging multiple stakeholders (clinical/non-clinical).
- Strong account management leadership in IDNs/health systems/academic medical centers/large group practices.
- MBA or advanced healthcare/business degree.

Skills/Requirements:
- Adhere to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards; strong selling/presentation skills; Microsoft Office proficiency; excellent communication; analytical/technical ability.
- Travel up to 50% (including overnight). Ability to lift/move up to 35 pounds.

Compensation/Benefits (US):
- Annual base salary range for new hires: $186,750–$311,250; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive; health care/insurance, retirement, paid holidays/vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
