Responsibilities
- Lead Neurosciences sales performance and professional development for a team of District Managers and Account Specialists covering the West Region.
- Strategically drive sales performance and operational excellence; manage the budget; collaborate with marketing and in-house field teams.
- Develop direct reports and build a high-performance, inclusive culture; recruit, develop, retain, or promote team members.
- Drive execution of promotional sales/marketing initiatives in alignment with ethical and compliance standards.
- Achieve/exceed unit and dollar national sales expectations and other organizational goals within expense, compliance, and legal guidelines.
- Analyze sales/business execution to identify needs, create and execute tactical plans, measure results, and monitor progress.
- Build relationships with external customers and internal partners to address customer needs and improve sales performance.
- Meet national productivity/administrative requirements to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Provide direct feedback and manage/facilitate communications and feedback to brand partners/departments.
- Assess and coach indication-specific anatomy, procedure, and injection trainings.
- Drive a personal auto or company vehicle.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree in health sciences/pharmacy/business (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven Sales Management success leading pharmaceutical teams.
- Experience in physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, and marketing.
- Ability to set vision and strategy; strong networking/partnering across functions.
- Experience with project management; models AbbVie Ways of Working.
- Satisfy applicable HCIR credentialing requirements for assigned territory (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, licenses); must be in good standing/eligible.
Preferred
- 10+ years healthcare/pharma/biotech business experience; 5+ years management with high reimbursement components.
- Experience with Buy & Bill, Specialty Pharmacy, Medicare Part B/D.
- Experience in headache and/or movement disorder subspecialties.
- Ability to commit to 50β75% overnight travel; valid driverβs license and ability to pass drug screening; meet hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements.
