Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth by leading, directing, and managing Account Managers in a designated region.
- Lead strategic meetings (national/regional/local) and team meetings; coach team to meet/exceed sales objectives and corporate forecasts.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach Account Managers; lead performance management and disciplinary resolution.
- Drive awareness, understanding, utilization, and sales of a launch product.
- Develop and implement business plans; execute the approved regional marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Monitor local market conditions and field activities; ensure compliance with company guidelines and timely delivery of sales/marketing tactics.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures; use reporting/tools to monitor goal attainment per client agreements.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/medical/related medical sales experience.
- 2+ years district/regional field management experience.
- Domestic travel as needed (including overnight), majority of time in-market.
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree; experience launching drug; Hepatology experience.
- Experience leading teams engaging customers in academic/IDN settings.
- Market strategy/tactical mix knowledge; strong interpersonal/organizational/communication skills; project planning and cross-functional management; ability to hire/lead/coach/mentor.

Skills:
- Regulatory/legal/compliance adherence; strong selling/presentation; Microsoft Office; strong oral/written communication; analytical/technical abilities.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog (preferred).

Requirements:
- Travel up to 70% of the time (overnight stays).
