Responsibilities:
- Generate volume and market share growth by developing and managing a designated region.
- Lead, direct, and manage Account Managers within a specific geographical area.
- Guide the team to achieve established sales and business objectives; participate in national, regional, and local strategic meetings and lead team meetings.
- Provide compliant leadership to drive sales objectives, meet/exceed corporate forecasts, and monitor field activities for compliance.
- Provide timely feedback on marketing tactics and market conditions in collaboration with leadership, commercial operations, marketing, and other business units.
- Lead, manage, and develop account manager skill sets and overall performance.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and coach account managers.
- Drive awareness, understanding, utilization, and sales of a launch product through team development.
- Develop and implement business plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Provide leadership to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Execute the approved marketing plan to maximize market penetration.
- Identify and monitor local market conditions; adapt strategies and build strong customer relationships.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing and sales tactics within the region.
- Collaborate on goal setting and performance measures; use reports/tools to monitor goal attainment as per client agreements.
- Establish performance expectations, oversee direct reports to ensure policy adherence, and provide continuous feedback.
- Conduct regular field ride-alongs for hands-on coaching.
- Manage performance management and resolve disciplinary issues fairly and timely.
- Foster a rewarding environment to encourage accomplishment and advancement/retention.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or related medical sales.
- Minimum 2 years of successful district/regional field management experience.
- Ability to travel domestically as necessary (including overnight travel; majority of time spent in market).
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree.
- Experience launching drug.
- Preferred experience in Hepatology.
- Experience leading sales teams engaging customers in academic institution or IDN setting.
- Understanding of market strategy and tactical mix.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to influence ideas.
- Excellent organizational skills in project planning/implementation and cross-functional management.
- Ability to hire, lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams.

Skills:
- Ability to adhere to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional presentation and selling skills with strong business acumen.
- Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, or Tagalog (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical/technical abilities with a focus on customer service to exceed business goals.

Requirements:
- Travel up to 70% of the time, including overnight stays.
