Responsibilities:
- Engage in bidirectional scientific/medical information exchange with Scientific Leaders; provide balanced, factual information about non-product areas of interest and respond to scientific questions including product-related questions.
- Build relationships and conduct peer-to-peer discussions; maintain medical contact and address inquiries outside scope by routing to appropriate resources.
- Maintain current knowledge of the therapeutic/clinical environment for COPD/Respiratory.
- Research support (upon request): align investigator/company research strategies; enhance understanding of investigator-sponsored research; identify barriers to patient enrollment/retention.
- Clinical trial support (upon request): recommend study sites/investigators for phase IIβIV, conduct Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), collaborate on protocol lead responsibilities, and support enrollment/retention; answer investigator questions.
- Support scientific congresses/medical meetings to facilitate company and competitor data exchange.
- Gather scientific/medical feedback from SLs and/or patients to identify needs and priorities.
- Model inclusive, integrity-based behaviors and serve as a role model for onboarding/sharing therapeutic expertise.
Required Location/Travel:
- North East territory (MA, CT, VT, RI, NH, ME); reside in territory; travel up to 50%; remote work.
Education:
- PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- 3+ years relevant therapeutic area experience (e.g., COPD/Respiratory) beyond terminal degree.
- Stakeholder management, communication/networking, doctoral-level discussions.
- Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical/pharmaceutical regulations; ability to prioritize in changing environments.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote) and virtual meeting platforms.
Preferred:
- 3+ years Respiratory/COPD experience beyond terminal degree; field-based medical experience; research experience; publication record.
