Regional Medical Scientific Director (Medical Science Liaison, MSL) – Inflammatory Bowel Disease Immunology

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with national/regional Scientific Leaders; provide company-approved medical/scientific information on therapeutic areas and company products.
- Conduct peer-to-peer discussions; serve as reliable medical contact for SLs.
- Answer scientific questions and direct inquiries outside scope (e.g., grants) to appropriate resources per policy.
- Maintain current expertise in the company’s Areas of Interest for the therapeutic area.
- Upon request: with Global Center for Scientific Affairs—initiate discussions to align investigator-sponsored research concepts with research strategies and identify enrollment/retention barriers.
- Upon request: with Global Clinical Trial Operations—recommend study sites/investigators, conduct Site Initiation Visits, support protocol lead responsibilities, and address investigator questions.
- Support scientific congresses/medical meetings and facilitate scientific/data exchange.
- Gather and relay feedback/data to understand medical/scientific needs and priorities of SLs and patients.

Qualifications:
- Credentialed PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
- 3+ years of relevant Immunology (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) experience beyond terminal degree.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions.
- Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other pharmaceutical industry ethical/regulatory requirements.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.

Preferred:
- Additional Immunology/Rheumatology and/or Dermatology experience; field-based medical experience; research experience; record of scientific/medical publications.

Location/Travel:
- Northeast region; must reside within territory; travel up to 50%.
