Regional Medical Scientific Director (Medical Science Liaison, MSL) β Inflammatory Bowel Disease Immunology (Northeast region)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with national/regional scientific leaders; provide company-approved medical/scientific information and respond to peer questions.
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain a reliable medical contact.
- Direct out-of-scope inquiries (e.g., grants) to appropriate resources per policy.
- Maintain current knowledge of the therapeutic area (Areas of Interest).
- On request: collaborate with GCSA and GCTO on scientific/data exchange, study alignment, protocol/site activities, and barriers to patient enrollment/retention.
- Support scientific congresses/medical meetings with data exchange (including competitor data).
- Gather insights/feedback to inform medical/scientific needs and priorities.
- Work independently and model inclusive, integrity-driven behavior.
Required Qualifications
- PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
- 3+ years of relevant Immunology (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) experience beyond terminal degree.
- Doctoral-level communication; strong stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and relevant ethical/pharma regulations.
- Ability to prioritize and work in changing environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Immunology/Rheumatology/Dermatology experience; field-based medical experience; research experience; publications.
