Regional Medical Scientific Director (aka Medical Science Liaison) Immunology - GI (North Texas)

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with national/regional Scientific Leaders to provide access to company-approved medical/scientific information on therapeutic areas and company products.
- Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions; serve as reliable medical contact.
- Answer scientific questions and route out-of-scope inquiries (e.g., grants) to appropriate resources per policy.
- Maintain current knowledge of the evolving scientific/clinical environment in IBD immunology.
- (Upon request) Collaborate with SLs/investigators to exchange scientific/data input supporting research strategy, study concepts, scientific merit, and fit for compounds/trials; identify barriers to patient enrollment/retention.
- (Upon request) Recommend study sites and potential investigators for phase IIβIV programs; conduct Site Initiation Visits; identify enrollment/retention barriers; perform protocol lead responsibilities with GCTO.
- Engage in scientific congresses/medical meetings and facilitate data exchange (company and competitor).
- Gather feedback/data to understand medical/scientific needs, priorities, and concerns of SLs and/or patients.
Required Location/Travel:
- Northern Texas (Dallas); candidates must reside in territory; travel up to 50% within territory.
Required Education:
- PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD.
Required Experience/Skills/Knowledge:
- 3 years relevant Immunology (IBD) experience beyond terminal degree.
- Strong verbal/written communication; ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions.
- Stakeholder management, networking, and scientific excellence/education focus.
- Working knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other relevant regulations.
- Ability to organize/prioritize in a changing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneNote) and virtual meeting platforms.
Preferred:
- Additional Immunology with Rheumatology and/or Dermatology experience; field-based medical experience; research experience; publications record.
