Medical Affairs
Responsibilities:
- Build collaborative relationships with institutions, Centers of Excellence, thought leaders, and key decision makers across medical, education, clinical research, and real-world experience.
- Provide fair-balanced medical/scientific information via scientific exchange; respond to informational requests including pipeline or off-label.
- Deliver medical presentations to diverse HCP audiences (decision makers, societies, advocacy groups).
- Support clinical research activities: thought leader/investigator engagement, follow-up, and facilitation of Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) interactions.
- Maintain cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, and other stakeholders.
- Collect and report competitive/scientific intelligence in compliance with company processes.
- Attend/participate in medical/scientific meetings and conferences to gather data and support communication on therapeutic areas.
- Contribute to internal training and speaker training.
- Support TL participation in advisory boards/consultant meetings per policy.
- Support publication development with Medical Communications.
- Participate in assigned Medical Affairs initiatives; complete administrative/reporting tasks.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP) strongly preferred.
- <2 years (Associate Director) or 2+ years (Director) in Field Medical/Medical Affairs pharma (residency/fellowship welcomed).
- Active clinical care, clinical research, or academia preferred.
- Understand regional medical practice and healthcare systems.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial and/or laboratory research design/execution.
- Extensive Endocrinology knowledge (including Cushing’s Disease) strongly preferred.

Skills:
- Customer service focus; teamwork/collaboration; written/verbal communication; presentation; time management; self-starter.

Working conditions:
- Periodic evening/weekend work; periodic overnight travel (~60%).

Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary: $200,000–$230,000.
