The Immunology Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is a field-based role responsible for development and optimization of national and regional marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with Annual Strategic Brand Plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects through the promotional review process; ensure regulatory guidelines and AbbVie processes are followed.
- Manage strategy, execution, and budgeting for conventions, External Expert consulting, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer education programming.
- Evaluate effectiveness of key marketing tactics and recommend brand optimization opportunities to leadership.
- Provide in-depth insights tied to brand business questions to guide marketing strategy, resource optimization, and tactic development.
- Partner with field leadership in assigned geography to optimize marketing pull-through.
- Understand market drivers, competitive landscape, provider dynamics, and competitive intelligence in the assigned geography.
- Coordinate external vendors and internal departments (e.g., agency partners, market research, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, ethics & compliance, IT).
Thought Leader Engagement:
- Identify and strengthen relationships with External Experts, emerging leaders, and relevant patient/professional associations.
- Develop regional engagement plans and ensure consistent annual tactical execution.
- Connect Integrated Brand Teams with external/internal stakeholders for collaboration aligned to objectives and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree.
- 2+ years in sales, sales management, or marketing with at least 2 years of Immunology experience (preferred).
- Prior Gastroenterology experience (preferred).
- Travel up to 75% including evenings/weekends.
- Valid driverβs license; meet safe driving and pre-employment drug screening requirements.

- Cross-functional collaboration; influence without direct authority.
- Ability to operate in a field/headquarters matrix.
- Work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of pharmaceutical product regulations/standards.
