Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage regional team of Kidney Territory Account Managers (KTAMs) (up to 10), including recruiting, hiring, and retaining a high-performing team.
- Establish business plans, metrics, and goals for the assigned region; motivate the team to deliver results.
- Support business goals by leveraging data analytics and field insights and providing strategic guidance to direct reports.
- Guide timely management of account and territory plans; support establishment and pull-through of any future approved products in the assigned geographic area.
- Build informed, long-term relationships across centers/accounts.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (including Marketing) to shape approaches that drive performance.
- Create a positive, collaborative team culture; coach KTAMs to improve outcomes for patients.
- Partner compliantly with other field/ HQ colleagues to analyze and address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends.
- Ensure achievement of assigned forecast by optimizing team performance through coaching, support, development, and driving a winning culture.
- Model ethics and integrity to support a culture of compliance and earn trust with external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 10+ years of healthcare/biopharmaceutical experience in sales, marketing, or equivalent.
- 3+ years supervisory/management experience.
- Strategic account management experience; ability to lead teams in specialty or rare disease environments.
- Nephrology and competitive selling experience (highly desired).
- Demonstrated understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance environment.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience launching in specialty care or rare diseases.
Other Requirements:
- Complete required training and customer credentialing (may include background screens, drug testing, vaccinations).
- Live and work within the territory (and within reasonable distance to a major airport as needed).
- Valid driverโs license in good standing.
- Travel up to 80% and work after hours as required.
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Pay range: $190,000โ$230,000. Eligible for incentive bonus and annual equity awards.
