General Summary:
- Oversee an assigned region within the US Kidney Business Unit.
- Manage a team of up to 10 Kidney Territory Account Managers (KTAMs) focused on educating and building awareness with nephrologists and Kidney centers of care in a pre-launch setting; later shift to product education, account management, and demand generation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage regional KTAM team (recruit, hire, retain) and drive results.
- Set business plans, metrics, and goals; motivate team performance.
- Leverage data analytics and field insights to support business goals and provide strategic guidance.
- Guide account/territory planning and support pull-through of future approved products in the assigned area.
- Build informed, long-term relationships across centers/accounts.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (including Marketing) to shape performance-driving approaches.
- Coach KTAMs and create a positive, collaborative team culture to improve patient outcomes.
- Proactively analyze customer needs, market dynamics, and trends to support brand/portfolio objectives.
- Ensure forecast achievement through coaching, support, development, and a winning culture.
- Role model ethics and integrity.
Required/Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 10+ years healthcare/biopharmaceutical experience in sales/marketing (or equivalent).
- 3+ years supervisory/management experience (or equivalent).
- Strategic account management experience in specialty/rare disease centers of care.
- Nephrology and competitive selling experience (highly desired).
- Specialty care/rare disease launch experience (preferred).
- Team collaboration; creative problem-solving and effective escalation.
- Understanding of legal/regulatory/compliance environment and ability to model expected behavior.
Other Requirements:
- Required customer credentialing (training, background screens, drug testing, vaccinations).
- Live and work within territory (near a major airport, as applicable).
- Valid driverโs license.
- Travel up to 80%; work after hours as needed.
Pay Range:
- $190,000 - $230,000
