Location/Work Model: Remote; South Central (Texas and Louisiana)

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, lead, develop, and retain the Rare Neurology Medical Specialist sales team in the South Central Region.
- Ensure sales performance exceeds forecast/expectations; meet/exceed assigned sales objectives and align plans to brand strategy.
- Lead hiring, training, performance evaluation, and development in compliance with corporate policies.
- Ensure customer education is implemented effectively; communicate industry/competitor knowledge.
- Ensure participation in trade shows/meetings/conferences.
- Analyze sales and customer data to deploy resources appropriately.
- Allocate/manage regional budget and promotional resources; demonstrate accountability for results.
- Build credibility and relationships with key customers (clinical experts, advocacy groups, etc.); ensure Medical Specialists are viewed as clinical experts.
- Develop and execute a compliant incentive compensation plan.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to address market dynamics and trends; understand payer environment/reimbursement challenges.

Qualifications (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or advanced certification preferred; science/clinical focus preferred).
- 10+ years pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience; 5 years sales leadership/management, including 3 years as Regional Director/District Manager in Rare Neurology.
- Highly preferred: experience with complex therapies (REMS, biologics, specialty pharmacy) in rare disease/neurology (e.g., MS, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, myasthenia gravis).
- Proven track record leading teams with integrity; strong ability to develop physician/customer clinical experts.
- Excellent leadership/interpersonal skills; travel extensively; strong analytical and strategic thinking.
- Preferred/Plus: product launch experience; selling to diverse customer segments; buy-and-bill reimbursement understanding.
- Must reside within assigned territory.

Compensation:
- Salary range (annual): $210,800.00 - $266,200.00.
