Regional Director - HIV Prevention, Field Activation Specialist (Southeast: FL, GA, AL, NC, OH, TN, IN)
Key Responsibilities
- Player-coach: Lead by example to activate key strategic accounts/institutions; set high-performance standards; engage in the field with direct customer engagement, mentoring, and tactical support.
- Team performance & development: Recruit, hire, manage, and coach Market Expansion Specialists; set expectations; track progress and effectiveness; provide continuous feedback/training.
- Strategic planning & execution: Analyze regional market data to create/execute a market expansion plan aligned to national goals; focus on leading indicators; translate enterprise strategy into tactics; solve locally where processes don’t exist.
- Operationalization & science integration: Integrate Gilead processes into client operations; advise on industry/competitive/regulatory landscape; ensure cross-functional execution and customer experience.
- Customer relationship management: Represent PrEP to a defined customer base; generate and activate; meet/exceed market expansion targets.
- Compliance & integrity: Ensure adherence to commercial compliance policies and applicable federal/state laws.
- Field engagement & travel: Participate in customer-facing meetings/events; travel within the region as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- High School + 16 yrs, OR Associate + 14 yrs, OR Bachelor’s + 12 yrs, OR Master’s + 10 yrs, OR PhD + 8 yrs.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel; meet healthcare practitioner onsite requirements (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ yrs relevant commercial experience; 5+ yrs leading Hospital/Specialty Pharmaceutical Sales teams.
