Regional Sales Director — Atlantic Region (SC, NC, VA, MD, DC, Eastern PA, NJ)

Key Responsibilities
- Player-coach: Set high-performance standards; engage in the field with direct customer engagement, mentoring, and tactical support.
- Sales team performance & development: Recruit, hire, manage, coach; set expectations; assess outcomes; track sales force effectiveness.
- Strategic planning & execution: Analyze regional market data/trends; develop and execute a sales plan aligned to national goals; achieve/exceed regional targets.
- Operationalization & science integration: Apply scientific understanding of therapies; integrate processes into healthcare ecosystems; support account-focused cross-functional execution; use trends/competitive/regulatory knowledge for decisions.
- Customer relationship management: Maintain relationships with healthcare stakeholders; deliver disease awareness, clinical updates, and product knowledge.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with National Accounts/Marketing/Medical Scientists; lead cross-functional projects; optimize cross-functional working.
- Compliance & integrity: Ensure activities comply with commercial compliance policies and applicable federal/state laws; promote ethical behavior.
- Field engagement & travel: Participate in customer-facing meetings/events; travel within assigned region as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s + 12 years OR Master’s + 10 years OR Ph.D. + 8 years.
- Ability to travel as required and satisfy applicable onsite visitation requirements.
- Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant commercial experience.
- Strategic sales leadership; player-coach style.
- Cross-functional collaboration; operational and scientific acumen.
- Sales team development; healthcare ecosystem integration.
- Experience in buy-and-bill/institutional selling; matrix leadership.
- Project management; strong customer relationship management.
- Compliance/ethical leadership; multi-product experience; patient-centric focus; ability to lead diverse teams.
