Regional Clinical Sales Specialist - Desert Southwest

Territory: Field-based position covering parts of Arizona, Utah and Nevada
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to educate HCP customers and staff aligned with commercial objectives (prioritized target engagements, account management as applicable, business assessment/analysis, resource utilization/impact)
- Educate cardiologists and rheumatologists and other decision makers to initiate Kiniksa’s approved product for patients with recurrent pericarditis
- Provide comprehensive education on Kiniksa One Connect Patient Services and support program
- Facilitate short-term and future opportunities via virtual/in-person venues, one-on-one, small groups, peer-to-peer programs, and stakeholder presentations
- Achieve quarterly and annual commercial goals and meet/exceed sales performance
- Ensure cross-functional efficiencies and collaborate with field sales partner teams
- Serve as an external representative for HCP stakeholders; be a reliable, trusted resource for company/product information
- Act in a compliant manner with integrity aligned with internal and external guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Maintain expenses within assigned budget parameters
- Document field activities accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of biopharmaceutical sales experience (rare disease, specialty therapeutic, and/or cardiology preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience promoting injectable or reconstitution injectable products preferred
- Track record of sales success; highly motivated to achieve results
- Strategic account management experience
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB services, and Patient Support programs
- Working knowledge of compliant and ethical business practices
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Travel 75%–80% (primarily assigned territory) and valid driver’s license
Compensation/Benefits:
- Base pay plus Sales Incentive plan; Sales pay range: $180,000–$200,000 USD
