Regional Cardiovascular Lead Manager (field-based; Western & Central US)
Primary Responsibilities
People Management
- Lead and guide Regional Cardiovascular Leads (RCLs); recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing, customer-centric team.
- Evaluate impact, maximize performance, coach/train RCLs, and support professional growth.
- Foster inclusivity and psychological safety.
Customer Engagement
- Build relationships with scientific/clinical leaders and engage HCP leaders in cardiovascular.
- Lead approved, deep scientific discussions; gather actionable customer insights.
- Attend scientific conferences/society meetings; collaborate cross-team within assigned geography.
- Partner with marketing/training to design engagement content.
Business Operations
- Manage and deploy resources (including budget) to meet objectives and ensure ROI.
- Identify/create opportunities; provide field/customer inputs to HQ brand strategy.
- Inform national strategy/tactics via cross-functional teams; develop and adjust strategic plans.
- Ensure compliance with business practices and regulatory/legal/compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree and 6β8 years sales experience, including leading teams (or equivalent leadership in healthcare/scientific/marketing).
- Strong presentation/communication; ability to distill complex scientific/public health concepts.
- Collaboration/prioritization; contextualize decisions into broader strategy.
- Tech proficient (MS Office Suite, iPad); valid driverβs license.
- Travel/overnights required.
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD).
- 5+ years Cardiovascular market; 5+ years Cardiovascular products.
- 3+ years scientific/clinical leader engagement.
