Regional Cardiovascular Lead Manager (field-based; Western & Central US)
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Regional Cardiovascular Leads (RCLs): recruit, develop, retain; provide direction, coaching, training, and performance support.
- Evaluate team impact, maximize performance, and drive business outcomes; foster inclusivity and psychological safety.
- Build relationships with scientific/clinical leaders; conduct approved deep scientific discussions; gather customer insights.
- Stay current via scientific conferences/society meetings; collaborate with other customer-facing teams; partner with marketing/training on engagement content.
- Manage resources (including budget) to achieve objectives and ROI; allocate resources locally.
- Support brand strategy inputs to HQ; influence national strategies on cross-functional teams; develop and maintain strategic plans using multi-leader insights; ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelorβs degree; 6β8 years sales experience including leading teams (or equivalent leadership in healthcare/scientific/healthcare marketing).
- Strong presentation/communication of complex scientific/public health concepts.
- Collaboration/prioritization; technology proficiency (MS Office, iPad).
- Valid driverβs license; travel/overnights for meetings and conferences.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD).
- 5+ years cardiovascular market/product experience.
- 3+ years scientific and clinical leader engagement experience.
Required/Key Skills: customer engagement, healthcare/ pharmaceutical sales, market analysis, cardiology/cardiovascular pharmacology, regulatory policies, resource allocation, sales forecasting/objectives/coaching.
