Regional Cardiovascular Lead Manager (Field-based; Western & Central U.S.)
Primary Responsibilities
People Management:
- Lead and guide Regional Cardiovascular Leads (RCLs) to shape and execute customer engagement strategies.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing, customer-centric team.
- Evaluate impact, maximize performance, and achieve business outcomes.
- Observe customer interactions; provide training, coaching, and counseling.
- Promote inclusivity and foster psychological safety.
Customer Engagement:
- Build relationships with scientific and clinical leaders; drive presence among HCP leaders.
- Lead approved, in-depth scientific discussions; gather actionable insights.
- Attend key scientific conferences/society meetings.
- Partner with marketing/training to design engagement content.
Business Operations:
- Manage/deploy resources (including budget) to meet objectives with appropriate ROI.
- Identify/create opportunities to drive business results.
- Partner with HQ brand teams and contribute to national strategies.
- Develop, align, monitor, and adjust strategic plans; ensure compliance with applicable business practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree + 6β8 years sales experience (including leading teams).
- Equivalent healthcare/scientific leadership (pharma/biotech/medical devices) or professional marketing leadership.
- Strong presentation/communication; ability to convey complex scientific/public health concepts.
- Technologically proficient; valid driverβs license.
- Travel/overnight required.
Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA/PharmD); 5+ yrs cardiovascular/5+ yrs cardiovascular products; 3+ yrs scientific & clinical leader engagement.
Skills (required): adaptability, analytical problem solving, customer engagement, healthcare/pharma sales, market analysis, motivational/people leadership, resource allocation, sales forecasting/coaching/reporting.
