Regional Business Manager (RBM) – LSD (Dallas, TX; Virtual)

How you will contribute:
- Lead business-related activities in assigned territory, including achievement of sales goals through executing brand strategies.
- Build relationships with physicians and accounts; provide scientific data and in-depth knowledge for Lysosomal Storage Disorder portfolio.
- Educate HCPs to raise awareness of Lysosomal Storage Disorders, Gaucher Disease, and Hunter (MPS II) Syndrome; support early diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Describe signs and symptoms and differential diagnosis; educate on appropriate Takeda treatment options.
- Conduct in-depth business planning and partner with regional counterparts to allocate disease-state and product education.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal business partners to coordinate efforts and maximize impact.
- Analyze and apply market data to assess business opportunities, priorities, and patient/market dynamics.
- Attend conferences/exhibits; plan and execute disease-state and product programs using approved vendors.
- Motivate and partner with extended team members to improve performance and foster engagement/accountability.
- Integrate/prioritize approved US LSD sales leads and tactics to optimize customer engagement and account outcomes.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharma/biotech/medical device or related healthcare industries.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
- Strong marketplace acumen; consistent track record of success.
- Rare disease experience preferred; complex sales model experience required.
- Strategic territory management success; work within a complex sales model.
- Biotech/biologics/specialty pharmacy experience helpful.
- Buy & bill selling/account management preferred.
- Understand payer access and reimbursement at assigned regional/state/local levels.
- Experience managing and communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Key Skills:
- Highly regulated marketplace experience; consultative/targeted customer engagement.
- Excellent questioning/exploratory skills in customer calls.
- Technical competence (Excel/CRM/data analysis); proven analytical capabilities.
- Consultative selling and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to deliver large and small group presentations; teamwork/collaboration.
- Adaptability in a fluid marketplace.

Travel/Work Requirements:
- Must live in territory.
- Work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Extensive travel (varies by territory, ~50%); ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training with written and oral examinations.
