Regional Business Leader (IBD Specialty Sales)

Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement regional sales plans and coaching; build and lead the regional sales team.
- Support and coach sales team members.
- Establish/manage relationships with key customers, professionals, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage regional sales business operations (policies/procedures, budgets, sales/account data).
- Recruit, train, and develop Specialty Sales Representatives and Specialty Account Managers; create a learning environment.
- Build integrated account teams (Specialty Account Managers and Specialty Sales Representatives) to achieve sales objectives.
- Implement sales and marketing programs to support U.S. growth in assigned district.
- Ensure compliance of selling activities with State and Federal regulations.
- Provide strategic input to Marketing for development/evolution of marketing plans.
- Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in assigned therapeutic areas.
- Liaison with internal business partners and coordinate with other sales/marketing functions.
- Partner with Regional/National Account Managers on managed market issues and initiatives to maximize sales.

Qualifications (Required):
- BS/BA.
- 5+ years management-level experience in pharma/immunology/biologic-biotech or medical devices (district/specialty account, marketing, product management or equivalent).
- 3+ years people leadership OR account management OR brand management experience.
- Strategic planning/business skills; coaching/delegation/motivation with timely feedback.
- Ability to analyze complex data; strong verbal/written/presentation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Live within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- MBA or Master’s.
- Experience with infusion/injectable products.
- Account-based sales experience (hospital/health system/infusion centers/large group practice).
- Immunology and Gastroenterology experience.
- Biological product launch experience.

Travel:
- Drive/fly to client sites; overnight travel to support district; 50–75% travel.
