Job Description:
The Regional Business Lead, IBD is responsible for planning and implementing district sales plans and coaching for success. Builds and leads the district sales team; provides support and coaching; establishes and manages relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders; and manages district sales business operations (policies/procedures, budgets, sales/account data). Leads a team of Specialty Sales Representatives and Specialty Account Managers promoting Takeda’s biotech products to medical professionals.

Accountabilities:
- Develops and implements market-based strategies to achieve sales objectives and maximize opportunities; builds business plans using data and account/market analysis.
- Evaluates business opportunities and recommends solutions to district challenges.
- Recruits, trains, and develops specialty team members; coaches and motivates to accomplish objectives.
- Creates integrated business/account teams to achieve sales objectives.
- Implements sales and marketing programs to support U.S. growth in assigned district.
- Ensures compliance of selling activities with State and Federal regulations.
- Provides strategic input to Marketing to evolve marketing plans.
- Develops relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and internal business partners.
- Works with Regional/National Account Managers on managed market issues and shared sales/product access objectives.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
- BS/BA.
- 5+ years management experience in pharmaceutical/immunology/biologic-biotech or medical device industries (district, specialty account, marketing, and/or product management).
- Business/strategic planning; coaching/delegation/motivation; complex data analysis.
- Strong verbal/written/presentation skills; MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Resides within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- MBA/Master’s.
- Experience with infused/injectable products; account-based sales (hospital, health system, infusion centers, large group practice).
- Immunology and Gastroenterology experience; biological product launch experience.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to meetings/client sites; local and national meetings/training; overnight travel.
- 50–75% travel.

Compensation and Benefits (summary):
- U.S. base salary range: $176,000–$242,000.
- May include incentives and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time/year, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
