Position Summary
The Regional Business Director β MI Clarity is a field-based commercial leadership role responsible for driving regional and national market adoption, utilization growth, and strategic expansion of MI Clarity, an AI-powered prognostic assay for HR-positive/HER2-negative, node-negative early-stage breast cancer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional and national commercial strategies to drive adoption, utilization, and market penetration.
- Build, lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives.
- Establish accountability, urgency, customer focus, and execution excellence.
- Drive new account acquisition and account expansion across oncology, pathology, breast surgery, and integrated delivery networks.
- Identify high-value market opportunities and strategic accounts.
- Build go-to-market strategies for community oncology practices, academic medical centers, and health systems.
- Build executive-level relationships and engage oncology, pathology, breast program directors, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Collaborate with pathologists to optimize tissue access and workflow integration.
- Lead discussions on value-based care, clinical utility, and personalized treatment planning.
- Coach teams on evidence-based clinical selling and differentiation.
- Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and conduct field coaching, business reviews, pipeline/forecasting, and KPI-setting.
- Support product launch, messaging refinement, field readiness, marketplace feedback, and cross-functional partnerships (Medical Affairs, Marketing, Operations, Pathology, Market Access, Executive Leadership).
- Maintain accurate forecasting/CRM utilization and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience leading commercial teams.
- Proven success in building high-performing sales organizations and driving market development/new business/customer adoption/revenue growth.
- Experience leading teams through product launches/commercialization or high-growth environments.
- Strong coaching, communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- CRM, sales analytics, forecasting, and business intelligence experience.
- Ability to travel regularly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology/diagnostics/molecular testing/pathology/precision medicine/device/biotech/pharma/healthcare technology experience.
- Experience leading multi-level commercial organizations.
- Experience launching innovative healthcare products/services/technologies.
- Familiarity with oncology care delivery, pathology workflows, integrated healthcare systems.
- Experience with large health systems/IDNs/academic medical centers.
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience commercializing AI-enabled technologies, digital health platforms, or advanced diagnostics.
