Role Summary

Regional Business Director, Immunology Dermatology (South Central) – Janssen Biotech, Inc. is a leadership position responsible for guiding and directly managing a team of District Managers and Dermatology Sales Specialists across the Dermatology accounts in the South Central region, interfacing with cross-disciplinary stakeholders to drive business results.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for leading their team to maximize sales opportunities, collaborate to prioritize opportunities, and secure resources to maximize results.
  • Develop and execute an aligned business plan that delivers compliant product sales growth and volume objectives while addressing customer and marketplace needs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access, establish relationships, and build effective operating networks for positive business interactions.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team with expertise in Janssen business, healthcare marketplace, and account management; coach District Managers and Sales Specialists on critical business competencies and leadership imperatives.
  • Coach others to build mutual alignment with internal and external stakeholders and achieve customer-centric, company-responsible outcomes in accordance with J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
  • Set overall account goals and objectives, and oversee account metrics and business performance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Seven (7) years of related experience, including at least five (5) years in cross-functional commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics, Business Development); prior direct people management/leadership experience; ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high-performing, diverse teams; demonstrated commercial capabilities; valid US Driver’s License.
  • Preferred: Live within regional geography; cross-functional experience beyond Sales and Sales Learning & Development; healthcare or pharmaceuticals background; prior sales experience as a professional representative and/or District Manager; experience in in-line Marketing and/or Strategic Marketing/Marketing Access; sales/marketing experience in Dermatology.
