Role Summary

Regional Business Director, Immunology Dermatology (South Central) is a leadership role accountable to effectively lead, develop, and directly manage a team of District Managers and Dermatology Sales Specialists with sales responsibilities across Janssen Biotech’s Dermatology accounts, interfacing with cross-disciplinary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for leading their team to maximize sales opportunities, collaborating to prioritize opportunities and secure resources to maximize results.
  • Develop and execute an aligned business plan to deliver compliant product sales growth and volume objectives, addressing customer and marketplace needs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access and establish relationships and operating networks for positive business interactions.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team skilled in the Janssen business, healthcare marketplace, and account management.
  • Coach others to align with stakeholders and achieve customer-centric and company-responsible outcomes, adhering to the J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
  • Set overall account goals and oversee account metrics and business performance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Seven (7) years of related experience with a minimum of five (5) years in cross-functional commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics, or Business Development).
  • Required: Prior direct people management / leadership experience.
  • Required: Ability to lead, develop, coach, and engage high performing, diverse teams.
  • Required: Demonstrated commercial capabilities and success in prior commercial roles.
  • Required: Valid US Driver’s License.
  • Preferred: Live within regional geography.
  • Preferred: Cross-functional experience beyond Sales and Sales Learning & Development.
  • Preferred: Healthcare or related experience, including pharmaceuticals.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in sales as a professional sales representative and/or District Manager.
  • Preferred: Direct experience in in-line Marketing and/or Strategic Marketing/Marketing Access.
  • Preferred: Sales and/or Marketing experience in Dermatology.
