Role: Regional Business Director (Hematology) for Genmab’s US Oncology sales organization.

Territory: Mid-Atlantic (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and Pittsburgh).

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, develop, and lead the Hematology sales team; lead Oncology Account Managers to meet/exceed sales goals while maintaining compliance with field sales activity.
- Develop and execute regional/national sales strategies and a business plan for assigned geography.
- Implement customer-specific approaches to deliver high-impact opportunities.
- Coach and develop team members in digital and in-selling techniques; build a culture of value-based selling.
- Establish a patient-focused culture that prioritizes actions driving brand value.
- Build relationships with key customers and opinion leaders; collaborate with alliance partners to optimize customer experience and results.
- Evaluate business environment/practice models to develop and maintain internal (matrix) and external partnering relationships.
- Lead team recruiting/hiring, training, development, performance evaluation, and compliance.
- Execute recruiting/hiring plan aligned to modern sales environment candidate attributes.
- Develop learning programs supporting effective hybrid (in-person/virtual) operation.
- Understand and navigate product/process throughout key accounts and large institutions.
- Set expectations for utilization of approved promotional programs.
- Communicate competitive market intelligence to brand teams and management.
- Analyze region/division business and build short- and long-term business plans to drive growth.
- Participate in meetings; communicate regularly with internal/external partners and clients to optimize resources and exceed expectations.
- Ensure strong culture and team dynamics; adhere to budgets and home office/brand financials.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulatory/legal standards.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.
- Minimum 8 years pharma/biotech sales experience; minimum 3 years leadership experience in Oncology.
- Preference for Gyn Onc experience.
- Proven ability to recruit/hire/develop/retain top sales talent.
- Strong coaching skills that improve sales behaviors and team development.
- Proven success launching Oncology products with strong results.
- Strategic thinking and disciplined execution.
- Ability to navigate and adhere to Commercialization and Corporate governance processes.
- Strong collaboration; excellent presentation, organization, and communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and Veeva Engage (etc.).
- High professional ethics and sound judgment/strategic decision-making.
- Travel by car and plane required.
