Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Development:
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team aligned with organizational goals.
- Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, accountable culture focused on continuous improvement and growth.
Sales Leadership & Performance:
- Use performance metrics and market insights to drive growth and accountability.
- Enhance field performance using internal resources, expertise, and best practices.
- Conduct weekly field visits, business reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Motivate and coach sales professionals to execute business strategies and maximize territory performance.
- Provide clear verbal and written feedback to support performance.
- Lead the region to achieve and exceed sales and performance objectives.
Team Engagement, Collaboration & Communication:
- Represent the company to drive strategic value for customers and improve patient outcomes.
- Lead sales meetings; communicate priorities and expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align and execute regional initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians and key opinion leaders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of bioscience commercial experience and 2β5 years of sales leadership.
- Highly desirable: rescue markets, specialty spaces, diabetes, medical device, or complex selling environments.
- Ability to influence using key performance metrics; hold teams accountable.
- Proven ability to coach/mentor and build trusted, empowered teams.
- Strong written/verbal communication, strategic thinking, decision-making, analytical skills, teamwork, and customer engagement.
Working Conditions
- Periodic evening/weekend work as needed.
- Vehicle and airline travel; valid U.S. driverβs license.
- Work in assigned territory; support field 3β4 days/week; travel up to 75%.
