Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and developmental guidance to a team of sales professionals.
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent; build and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Develop team members through coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, accountable culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Use performance metrics and market insights to drive growth and accountability.
- Conduct weekly field visits, business reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Motivate and coach sales professionals to execute strategies and maximize territory performance.
- Provide clear verbal and written feedback; recognize performance and address gaps through timely coaching.
- Lead the region to achieve and exceed sales and performance objectives.
- Lead sales meetings; communicate priorities and expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally; build relationships with physicians and key opinion leaders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelorβs Degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years bioscience commercial experience (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Diagnostics, Biotechnology/Life Sciences) and 2β5+ years sales leadership experience.
- Highly desirable: rescue markets, specialty spaces, diabetes, medical device, or complex selling environments.
- Ability to influence through KPI management; hold team accountable.
- Strong track record coaching/mentoring; building trusted, empowered teams.
- Leadership, strategic and organizational skills; EQ; strong written/verbal communication; decision-making; analytical skills; customer engagement; teamwork.
Working Conditions:
- Periodic evening/weekend work may be required.
- Valid U.S. driverβs license; vehicle and airline travel; 3β4 days/week in territory; up to 75% travel.
Compensation (anticipated): Base salary range $180,000β$240,000.
