Regional Business Director (RBD) for Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Electrophysiology, supporting the Arkansas and Memphis territory. Responsible for implementing/executing Biosense Webster commercial strategy by managing Sales and Clinical personnel and activities to achieve business goals and maximize profitable sales growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive top-line regional sales results; define and manage monthly and annual sales objectives for Sales and Clinical personnel
- Meet/exceed sales and profit targets
- Provide sales forecasts; develop and execute tactical sales plans (quotas/account objectives)
- Manage region expense budget
- Coach/manage performance and competency development of Territory Managers and EP/ULS Clinical Account Specialists
- Oversee appropriate use/budgetary allowance/customer interactions of per diem clinical support
- Develop and enhance employee clinical proficiency and certification (with Clinical Education Manager)
- Develop sales and negotiation proficiencies of Territory Managers
- Recruit, develop, and retain talent (selection, performance management, succession/retention planning)
- Develop/implement commercial, field training, product, and services marketing strategies
- Develop and execute customer relationship strategies for key clinical/commercial stakeholders
- Drive organizational development and change (e.g., Pod organizational model)
- Partner with internal stakeholders to execute regional strategic plans; participate in national projects
- Ensure compliance with company programs/policies and all applicable regulations; ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred
- 5+ years professional work experience
- 3+ years US medical device Sales/Marketing OR 2 years prior Sales Management experience in healthcare
- Field trainer or project leadership experience required
- 2+ years in Cardiac Electrophysiology or Cardiovascular industry preferred; capital selling experience preferred
- Preference to live within the Region
