Regional Access Director (RAD)

Responsibilities:
- Execute the market access reimbursement plan in the assigned geography to minimize access and reimbursement barriers for patients and providers.
- Educate prescriber office personnel (in person and virtual) on programs and processes to facilitate patient access.
- Address patient-specific issues and provide issue resolution across geography.
- Optimize patient support offerings and specialty pharmacy (SP) processes to improve patient and provider experience.
- Champion and manage utilization of patient support services and reimbursement programs to ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements.
- Serve as subject matter expert on reimbursement and access for VYKAT XR in the geography.
- Collaborate with payor team to understand payer policies and facilitate patient access.
- Ensure providers understand prior authorization requirements, appeals processes, and clinical criteria.
- Troubleshoot Hub/SP-related issues with internal/external customers; collaborate with Hub/SP account management to solve customer issues.
- Provide timely follow-up and develop/prioritize action plans to meet patient needs.
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders/provider advocates to drive payer/reimbursement strategies.
- Stay current on patient support programs, requirements, and payer trends.
- Analyze reimbursement/access issues cross-functionally and act as local access/reimbursement resource.
- Communicate trends/issues/best practices to internal stakeholders; contribute to prelaunch and patient services initiatives as needed.
- Represent the organization at industry functions and with patient advocacy groups.

Qualifications:
- Must be located within the region and live near a major airport: AZ, CO, IA, ID, KS, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, NM, OK, SD, UT, WI, WY.
- BA/BS degree and 5+ years of pharma/biopharmaceutical field experience calling on customers; or 10+ years in industry/related patient access if no degree.
- 2+ years reimbursement-related or relevant managed care experience.
- Ability to thrive independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Ability to condense complex reimbursement issues into simple solutions.
- Ability to lead without authority.
- Travel: ~30–50%.

Salary Range: $180K - $210K
