Role: Rare Disease Business Manager โ€“ Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP (reports to Sr. Regional Business Director)

Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales quotas via new patient starts, outpatient infusion center/hospital sales, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Deliver sales presentations and provide technical/administrative product information; educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand office influence points affecting diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events/conferences for HCPs and patients.
- Focus on HCPs in Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, and Neurologists; educate/inform on Takeda brands.
- Analyze local/regional market trends to build long- and short-term goals and a business plan.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure satisfaction and pull-through opportunities.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment handling confidential patient information per company policies.

Key skills:
- Organizational/territory planning; data acquisition/interpretation; strong communication; ability to work in matrix; organize community education (occasional nights/weekends); partner/motivate extended team.

Minimum requirements:
- BS/BA; 3+ years pharma/biotech/med device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience.
- Ability to navigate complex selling environments and influence decision makers; business acumen/strategic planning; territory/account management; interpret analytical data; payer access/reimbursement knowledge; adaptability; learning agility; reside in territory/support geography.

Preferred requirements:
- 5+ years rare disease/pharma sales; biologic products coordination with patient/market access; consultative needs-based selling; regulated marketplace experience; use of digital tools/AI-enabled processes.

Licenses/certifications:
- Valid Driverโ€™s License.

Travel requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional meetings; up to ~25โ€“50% overnight travel.

Training requirements:
- Contingent upon passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams). Initial non-exempt status during training (overtime per law; no sales incentives/production bonuses). After exams: transition to exempt status and eligible for sales incentives/contests.
