Rare Disease Business Manager β Primary Immune Deficiency (PI) and CIDP (Pittsburgh, PA)
How you will contribute
- Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts, outpatient infusion center/hospital sales, and patient retention on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements: sales presentations; provide technical/administrative product info; educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand influence points impacting diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences.
- Focus on HCPs (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, Neurologists); educate HCPs on Takeda brands for PI and CIDP.
- Analyze local/regional trends to build business goals and plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, National Accounts).
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment; handle confidential patient information per policies.

- Organizational/territory planning; data acquisition/interpretation; consultative selling/community education; collaboration in matrixed environment; motivate/partner with teams.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelorβs (BS/BA).
- 3+ years selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry); or 2+ years at Takeda.
- Strong verbal/written communication; navigate complex selling/influence; business acumen; payer access/reimbursement knowledge; adaptability; learning agility; must reside in territory.
Preferred requirements
- 5+ years pharma sales (rare disease preferred); regulated marketplace; consultative/needs-based selling; experience with patient/market access coordination; technology/digital/AI-enabled processes.
Travel/Licenses/Training
- Valid driverβs license; drive/fly as needed; overnight travel 25β50%.
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; initial non-exempt training period may be eligible for overtime; later transition to exempt status.
