Rare Disease Business Manager – Primary Immune Deficiency (PI) / CIDP

How you will contribute:
- Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts, increasing sales in outpatient infusion centers/hospitals, and retaining patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements: sales presentations, technical/administrative product information, and education on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand office influence points affecting diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences for HCPs and patients.
- Focus on HCPs (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, Neurologists) and educate on Takeda brands for PI and CIDP.
- Analyze market trends to build long/short-term goals and a successful business plan.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, National Accounts.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment and handle confidential patient information.

- Team player in a matrix; community education (occasional nights/weekends).
- Partner/motivate extended team; engagement and accountability.

Required:
- BS/BA; 3+ years selling (pharma/biotech/med device) or 2+ years at Takeda.
- Excellent communication; ability to influence multiple decision makers.
- Business acumen/strategic planning; territory/account management/prioritization.
- Understanding payer access/reimbursement; adaptability; learning agility.
- Reside within territory/assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years pharma sales (preferably rare disease); needs-based selling; regulated marketplace; experience with patient/market access coordination; emerging tech/digital/AI openness.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License.
Travel: drive/fly; overnight travel 25–50%.
Training: successful completion of mandatory product training with exams; non-exempt during training (overtime eligible during training only).

Benefits/Compensation (if applicable to role): $66.11–$90.91 hourly wage range (Iowa/Omaha); may be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, sick time (up to 80 hours/year), and paid vacation (up to 120 hours for new hires).
