Rare Disease Business Manager (RDBM) β LSD (Wisconsin/Minnesota)

- Includes all MN, all WI, ND, SD, IA and NE
How you will contribute
- Own business-related activities in assigned geography, including achievement of sales goals through executing brand strategies.
- Engage target physicians treating Lysosomal Storage Disorders; support education to aid early diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Perform in-depth business planning and partner with regional counterparts to allocate appropriate disease state and product education.
- Drive advanced customer engagement to create disease state awareness across multidisciplinary healthcare specialties.
- Educate and inform HCPs on the LSD portfolio: signs/symptoms, differential diagnosis process, and appropriate Takeda treatment options.
- Collaborate with the LSD cross-functional team and internal business partners to coordinate efforts and maximize business outcomes.
- Analyze and apply market data to assess business opportunities and priorities.
- Attend conferences and exhibits; plan and execute disease state and product programs using approved vendor.
- Partner with and motivate extended team members to improve performance, fostering engagement and accountability.
- Integrate/prioritize US LSD approved sales leads and tactics to optimize customer engagement and account outcomes.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals (pharma/biotech/medical device or related).
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
- Strong marketplace acumen.
- Rare disease experience preferred; complex sales model experience required.
- Consistent track record of success.
- Strategic territory management success; experience working within a complex sales model.
- Biotech/biologics/specialty pharmacy experience helpful.
- Buy & bill selling/account management preferred.
- Understand payer access and reimbursement at regional/state/local levels.
- Experience managing and communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Travel & Work Requirements
- Candidate must live in territory.
- Must work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Extensive travel required (about 60%).
- Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental.
Training Requirements
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of mandatory product training (written and oral exams).
Benefits (explicitly stated)
- U.S. hourly wage range: $71.15β$97.84.
