Responsibilities:
- Manage all business activities within geographic responsibility, including achievement of sales goals through executing brand strategies.
- Build relationships with physicians and accounts by providing scientific data and in-depth knowledge for the Takeda Rare Disease portfolio of Lysosomal Storage Disorder products.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers and internal stakeholders to provide educational resources and tools to support early patient diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Educate and raise awareness of Lysosomal Storage Disorders, Gaucher Disease, and Hunters (MPS II) Syndrome; support differential diagnosis and appropriate treatment options.
- Partner with cross-functional team members to integrate resources and help educate HCPs on facilitation of therapy.
- Execute in-depth business planning with regional counterparts; allocate disease state and product education.
- Provide advanced customer engagement across multidisciplinary specialties to enhance the LSD business and build support for the product portfolio.
- Coordinate with the LSD cross-functional team and internal business partners to maximize impact and enhance business outcomes.
- Strategically analyze and apply market data to assess business opportunities and priorities.
- Attend conferences and exhibits; plan and execute disease state and product programs using approved vendors.
- Partner and motivate extended team members; foster engagement and accountability.
- Integrate and prioritize approved US LSD sales leads and tactics to optimize customer engagement and account outcomes.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum bachelorโs degree.
- 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or related healthcare industries.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary internal and external team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong marketplace acumen.
- Rare disease experience and/or complex sales model experience.
- Consistent track record of success.
- Demonstrated strategic territory management successes.
- Ability to work within a complex sales model.
- Biotech/biologics/specialty pharmacy experience helpful.
- Experience with buy & bill product selling/account management.
- Understands payer access and reimbursement at regional/state/local levels.
- Experience managing and communicating complex reimbursement issues.

- Must live in territory.
- Work evenings and weekends as needed.
