Regional Business Manager (LSD)

Responsibilities:
- Leverage communication/interpersonal skills and data analysis to develop actionable strategies to help HCPs accelerate diagnosis of patients in the rare metabolic space.
- Build relationships with physicians and accounts in the assigned geography; provide scientific data and disease/product expertise for Takeda Rare Disease Lysosomal Storage Disorder portfolio.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers and internal stakeholders to provide educational resources and tools to support early diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Educate and raise awareness of Lysosomal Storage Disorders, Gaucher Disease, and Hunters (MPS II) Syndrome with healthcare providers in the defined geography.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate resources and educate HCPs on facilitation of therapy.
- Manage all business activities in the territory, including achieving sales goals through brand strategies.
- Execute disease state and product programs at conferences/exhibits (using approved vendors).
- Analyze and apply market data to identify business opportunities and priorities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional and internal business partners to maximize impact and enhance business outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum.
- 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device or related industries.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary internal/external teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated marketplace acumen; consistent track record of success.
- Rare disease experience and/or complex sales model experience.
- Demonstrated strategic territory management success; ability to work within a complex sales model.
- Biotech/biologics/specialty pharmacy experience helpful.
- Experience with buy & bill selling/account management.
- Understand payer access and reimbursement at regional/state/local levels; experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

- Experience in highly regulated marketplaces.
- Strong questioning/exploratory skills in customer calls.
- Technical competence (Excel/CRM/data analysis).
- Consultative selling; excellent organizational skills.
- Proven analytical capabilities; presentations (large/small group).
- Teamwork and collaboration; adaptability; ability to work independently; thrive in unstructured environments.

Travel & Work Requirements:
- Candidate must live in territory.
- Work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Travel required and varies by territory (50%).

Compensation (as stated):
- U.S. base salary range: $148,000.00–$203,500.00.
