About the role:
- Regional Business Manager (RBM) for LSD OH/KY; uses communication/interpersonal skills and data analysis to support HCPs in accelerating diagnosis of patients in rare metabolic disorders (Takeda Rare Disease portfolio).
- Builds relationships with physicians and accounts; provides scientific data and disease/product education.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare providers and internal stakeholders to deliver educational resources/tools for early diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Raises awareness of Lysosomal Storage Disorders, Gaucher Disease, and Hunter (MPS II) Syndrome; partners with cross-functional teams to facilitate therapy.
- Reports to the Regional Business Director, LSD.

How you will contribute:
- Own business activities in territory; achieve sales goals via brand strategies.
- Focus call points on target physicians; support education for early diagnosis/treatment.
- Lead in-depth business planning and coordinate disease state/product education across geography.
- Engage customers to increase disease awareness across multidisciplinary specialties.
- Educate HCPs on signs/symptoms, differential diagnosis, and appropriate Takeda treatment options.
- Analyze and apply market data to assess opportunities/priorities.
- Attend conferences/exhibits; plan/execute disease state & product programs using approved vendors.
- Partner with/mentor extended team members; integrate/prioritize US LSD sales leads.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals (pharma/biotech/medical device/related).
- Ability to demonstrate strong marketplace acumen; consistent track record of success.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal/external teams.
- Rare disease experience preferred; complex sales model experience required.
- Strategic territory management success; work within complex sales model.
- Biotech/biologics/specialty pharmacy helpful; buy & bill experience preferred.
- Understand payer access/reimbursement; manage/communicate complex reimbursement issues.

Key Skills:
- Highly regulated marketplace experience; consultative selling; strong analytical/data skills (Excel/CRM/data analysis).
- Excellent questioning/customer call skills; presentation skills; teamwork; adaptability.

Travel/Training (as stated):
- Live in territory; evenings/weekends as needed; ~50% travel; drive authorized vehicle.
- Contingent upon successful mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
