Rare Disease Business Manager (RDBM), LSD (Arizona/San Diego)

Responsibilities:
- Own all business activities in assigned geography; achieve sales goals via brand strategies.
- Engage target physicians treating lysosomal storage disorders; educate HCPs to support early diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Conduct in-depth business planning and allocate disease-state/product education across territory.
- Build disease-state awareness through advanced customer engagement across multidisciplinary specialties.
- Educate HCPs on Lysosomal Storage Disorders (including Gaucher Disease and MPS II), including signs/symptoms and differential diagnosis; educate on appropriate Takeda treatment options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and internal business partners to coordinate efforts and maximize business outcomes.
- Analyze and apply market data to set opportunities/priorities.
- Attend conferences/exhibits; plan and execute disease-state/product programs using approved vendors.
- Motivate/partner with extended team members; integrate/prioritize approved sales leads and tactics.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in pharma/biotech/medical device or related healthcare.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary internal/external teams.
- Strong marketplace acumen; consistent track record.

Preferred:
- Rare disease experience; complex sales model experience.
- Biotech/biologics/specialty pharmacy; buy & bill account management.
- Payer access/reimbursement understanding; experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Key Skills: highly regulated marketplace experience; consultative selling; analytical/data/Excel/CRM competence; presentations; teamwork; adaptability.

Travel: live in territory; evenings/weekends as needed; ~50% travel; drive company vehicle/rental.

Training: contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral). Non-exempt during training; eligible for overtime only during training; up to 8 hrs/day and 40 hrs/week. After passing, transition to exempt.
