Rare Disease Business Manager - HAE (Territory: Virginia and parts of North Carolina). Report to the Senior Regional Business Director, HAE.
How you will contribute:
- Drive franchise sales growth through execution of sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Lead and customer-facing teams to support patients through their HAE journey.
- Lead demand generation focused on healthcare professionals; educate HCPs on Takedaβs HAE portfolio.
- Manage HAE marketplace complexity (distribution and site of care); work daytime, evenings, and weekends.
- Partner with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patient access to therapy.
- Comply with all policies/guidelines; ensure high customer satisfaction; uphold company culture and values.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Clinical sales background; Bachelor of Science degree (minimum) required.
- 5+ years successful relevant healthcare sales experience managing and accountable for own business.
- Results-driven with a track record of results and compliance.
- Business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
- Organizational and territory planning skills.
- Ability to acquire/analyze/interpret customer data to develop sales strategies.
- Demonstrated change agility.
- Experience influencing HCPs to prescribe and launch (plus).
- 18+ years old; valid driverβs license and acceptable driving record.
- Travel 50% (overnight and occasional weekends); support conventions/meetings supporting Immunology.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company-leased vehicle or rental.
- Knowledge/experience in complex selling model (highly desirable); biotech experience (desirable).
Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent upon passing mandatory product training with written and oral exams.
- Training includes live instruction/independent study/role play (up to 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week). Temporary non-exempt status during training; eligible for overtime only during training.
- After passing exams, transition to exempt status and eligibility for sales incentives/contests.
Training and role are based on a USA (VA) virtual location.
