Rare Disease Business Manager – HAE (Las Vegas)

Responsibilities:
- Drive franchise sales growth by executing sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the Regional Business Lead and customer-facing teams to support patients throughout their HAE journey.
- Lead demand generation focused on healthcare professionals; educate HCPs on Takeda brands in the HAE portfolio.
- Manage HAE marketplace complexity (distribution and site of care).
- Work with third-party specialty pharmacies to ensure patient access to therapy.
- Adhere to all policies/guidelines and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Daytime plus evening/weekend activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:
- Clinical sales background; Bachelor of Science degree (minimum) required.
- 5+ years successful relevant healthcare sales experience managing and accountable for own business.
- Track record of results and compliance; business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
- Organizational and territory planning skills.
- Ability to acquire/analyze customer data to create effective sales strategies.
- Change agility experience.
- Ability to influence HCP prescribing; experience in prescribe-and-launch is a plus.
- Travel ~50% (including overnight; occasional weekends) and support Immunology conventions/meetings.
- Authorization and ability to drive a company-leased vehicle or rental.

Preferred:
- Knowledge/experience with complex selling model (highly desirable).
- Biotech experience (desirable).

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- During training (external Takeda hires only): non-exempt; eligible for overtime per applicable law; not eligible for Takeda sales incentives/production bonuses.
- Training includes live instruction/independent study/role play (no more than 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/week). After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Estimated U.S. hourly wage range: $66.11–$90.91.
- May be eligible for short-term incentives and certain benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being; up to 80 hrs sick time; up to 120 hrs paid vacation for new hires).
